Chloé Beaulac is a multidisciplinary artist living and working mainly in Montréal. She graduated in 2010 from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Print Media.
Understanding our role in nature and history is at the heart of Beaulac’s artistic pursuit. In the manner of an explorer, she travels a territory letting it infuse her with its history, myths, and personalities. Having shared these encounters with nature, Beaulac can allow her audience to relive an awakening of the senses through her screenprints, drawings, paintings, sculptures and multimedia works. By virtue of this process, Beaulac offers her audience supernatural environments to explore at their own accord.
Beaulac’s artwork can be found in many private and public collections, both in Canada and internationally, such as at the Bibliothèque et archives nationales du Québec and the archives of l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, Italy. She has also received numerous prizes and distinctions for her creations and research.
