International Print Center New York announces 101 Prints: A Sale to Benefit IPCNY opening in our Chelsea gallery on September 22nd and running through October 17th, 2009.  The sale will consist of a selection of some one-hundred-and-one prints given to IPCNY by leading New York City galleries and dealers, and by collectors, publishers and artists from across the country and around the world.

All prints included in 101 Prints have been generously donated to IPCNY and will be sold to benefit IPCNY’s programs.

101 Prints will feature original prints in various aesthetic styles and techniques, ranging from the traditional to the conceptual and from many different periods.  A large number of works from contemporary artists will be included, both from independent artists and those affiliated with established printmaking workshops.

All prints will be available for purchase.  The Sale will give collectors an opportunity to purchase extraordinary artists’ prints at a range of affordable prices (beginning at just $50) and to support a growing non-profit arts organization.  Images and pricing information will be updated when available here.

International Print Center New York is a non-profit institution founded to promote the greater appreciation and understanding of the fine art print worldwide.  Through innovative programming, it fosters a climate for the enjoyment, examination and serious study of artists’ prints, from the old master to the contemporary.  IPCNY offers its members a program of workshop and gallery visits, artists’ talks and other special events, and has established an informational website and Information Center available to the public at the gallery.  IPCNY depends upon public and private donations to support its programs.
