Statement: Psychology and allegorical vision play a big role in my creative approach. I am interested in reflecting states of mind and transformative moments created by traumatic experiences leading to personal formation. I focus on how the individual deals with inner struggle: searching for communication and understanding, while also allowing uncertainty, emotional unavailability, insecurity, and fragility come through. This is my personal journey through color and form; an exploration of hidden sensuality. Amusement and curiosity, frustration and idiocy are here interlocked in an absurd combination. I employ the silkscreen technique to bring forth a variety of effects and color combinations and to allow, at the same time, for unexpected details and endless possibilities of interaction between color and texture.
