International Print Center New York presents “Innervisions: New Prints 2016/Summer” from June 16 through September 24, 2016 in its gallery at 508 West 26th Street, 5th Floor. “Innervisions” was selected and installed by artist Dan Walsh from over 2,000 submissions by some 800 artists. The exhibition features 54 works by 50 artists, including 31 artists exhibiting for the first time at IPCNY. The exhibition reflects the growing geographic reach of New Prints submissions, with artists exhibiting from 16 states and 10 countries.

About the exhibition, Dan Walsh writes: “Innervisions proposes the idea of how the medium of printmaking, for all its mechanical and physical methodologies, innately and naturally lends itself to express expansive and interior visions. The print has always attracted a certain kind of artist who is drawn to the macro/micro world of the plate or block, and especially the process. This group of fifty artists is no exception. Their approach to the practice is from a variety of perspectives, which reflects today’s environment of diverse interests and non-hierarchical thinking.”
