The following is a history of Young Members' and 645 Print Club events:

 

 

November 5, 2004: IPCNY's Young Members and 6:45 Print Club attend Young Collectors' Night at IFPDA Fair. 6-8 p.m.

October 7, 2004
: Reception at the new Lincoln Center Print Gallery with Tom Lollar, Director. 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

February 24, 2004: Young member reception and gallery talks by Kimball Higgs, Cameron Martin and Aleksandar Duravcevic. 6:45 p.m. for the exhibition New Prints 2004/Winter

December 9, 2003: Holiday reception and collection visit at the home of Janice Oresman, IPCNY Chairman and corporate art advisor.

November 9, 2003: Curatorial walk through of the Editions/Artists' Books '03
Fair in Chelsea at the Starret Lehigh Building, followed by a light brunch.

Friday November 7, 2003:
: Young Collector's Evening at International Fine Print Dealers Association Annual Fair. IPCNY provides a guided walk through of the Fair for members and their guests. The walk-through will be led by Ann Fensterstock, art educator and collector.

Wednesday October 22, 2003: A visit to Printed Matter, a non-profit space in Chelsea which promotes books and other publications conceived by artists in editions of 100 or greater.

June 5, 2003: How to Care for a Print;
The 6:45 Print Club visits the showroom of Handmade Frames for a reception followed by a lecture and demonstration on the dos and don'ts of framing precious works on paper.

April 25, 2003:-Evening reception and guided walkthrough of Christie's spring print sale
led by the specialists of the Christie's Print Department

March 12, 2003:
6:45 Print Club visits Harlan & Weaver Print Workshop. Master Printers Felix Harlan and Carol Weaver give a printing demonstration and discuss works in progress by artists such as Kiki Smith, Louise Bourgeois and James Siena.

December 5, 2002: Holiday Party and Collection Visit at the Manhattan home of Dudley and Michael Del Balso.

November 10, 2002: IPCNY Members attend a private view and Saturday morning brunch at the Artists Books/Editions Fair, newly located in Chelsea down the street from IPCNY.

November 8, 2002: The 6:45 Print Club is invited to Young Collector's Night
at the IFPDA Print Fair

October 10, 2002: The 6:45 Print Club visits Dieu Donne Papermill in SOHO for a papermaking demonstration by Mina Takahashi, Executive Director of Programs, and a private view of Jane Hammond's recent editioned book project.

June 27, 2002: A visit to Galamander Press and private viewing of New Prints 2002/Summer for IPCNY's 6:45 Print Club and summer associates of Salans Hertzfeld Heilbronn Christy & Viener. Artist Marc Lepson, Jee Sung Lee and Laura Sue Phillips talk about their work, followed by a printmaking demonstration at Galamander Press.

April 29, 2002: An evening at Sotheby's for the 6:45 Print Club to preview the Spring Sale with a walkthrough led by the specialists of the print department.

March 12, 2002: The 6:45 Print Club is invited to MoMA's Print Room. Curators Starr Figura and Judy Hecker share and discuss a wide selection of prints from MoMA's print collection with members of IPCNY's 6:45 Print Club.

February 7, 2002:
The 6:45 Print Club launches its 2002 program with an evening of artists' talks and a last look at New Prints 2001/Autumn. Artists Lynne Harlow, Jonathan Lewis and David Shapiro spoke to the group, taking questions ranging from technique and the choice of materials to the relationship of their printmaking to other mediums of art making.

November 3, 2001: 6:45 Print Club Tour
Members of IPCNY's 6:45 Print Club tours the Editions and Artists Books Fair '01 in SoHo.

October 11, 2001: IPCNY 6:45 Print Club
IPCNY's 6:45 Print Club, a new young members' group, is launched at Two Palms Press in SoHo with a printmaking demonstration and reception, and will be followed by additional events for Club members and their guests this season.

May 1, 2001: The Founders of the 6:45 Print Club invite prospective young members to a private view of the New Prints Show at IPCNY. Artists, publishers and members of the Selections Committee for the New Prints 2001 show are present to give a greater understanding of the process behind the making of a fine art print
