In Cahoots Residency for Printmaking and Book Arts

In Cahoots Residency is a new printmaking and book art residency in Petaluma, California. It is a place of collaboration and creative energy, a rare opportunity for uninterrupted work time as well as dialog with other artists. Their pastoral location and light-filled studios inspire emerging and professional artists to make new discoveries and leave with a renewed passion for their work.

The residency welcomes artists working in a variety of mediums, and offers specific equipment for letterpress, printmaking, and artists books as well as a separate charming writing studio. In Cahoots Residency hosts three to five artists at a time in 1-week, 2-week or 4-week sessions. Residents are provided individual guest houses and 24-hour access to the spacious shared studios. Food is not provided.

Applications now open! Three full grants are available; application deadline October 25, 2018. Regular (non-grant) applications received by October 25, 2018 will have priority choice of dates in the 2019 calendar year. After this deadline, applications are reviewed on a rolling basis for any remaining spots.
