Manhattan Graphics Center Scholarship

Deadline: October 15, 2018

Manhattan Graphics Center offers 11 scholarships each year for artists who want to participate at the printmaking studio but can't afford the fees. Any artist who has not previously worked at MGC (i.e. taken a class, taught a class, or purchased open workshop time) is eligible to apply; printmaking experience is not required.

The Spring Term 2019 (January - April) Scholarship is awarded for the duration of one term or 15 weeks. During that time, recipients have unlimited access to the studio during our hours of operation, as long as a class is not taking place in the area in which you wish to work. Scholarship recipients will also be able to choose between taking 1 long course (our semester-long classes in etching, lithography, silkscreen, and Japanese woodblock) or 2 short classes (which change each term). Scholarship recipients will receive storage space and will be reimbursed for supplies up to $125. Receipts must be submitted to receive the stipend. Scholarship recipients will also receive a membership to MGC, which is good for 1 year.
