SM Pro Art Circle and the Port Authority of Santander call for the Second International Mini Print Cantabria, The Sea and the Lighthouses.
About the Works:
— The prize is open to all the disciplines of the graphic, admitting also digital work printed and monotype.
— The general theme is The Sea and the Lighthouses, but this does not imply that the work must be figurative. All kinds of aesthetic languages are allowed. The image and the paper must not exceed 20 x 20 cm. There is no minimum image or paper size.
— The work(s) must be without mat, glass, or frame.
— You can submit up to 3 works.
Jury: The jury of selection and awarding of the works will be formed by a representative of Culture of the Port Authority, a representative of SM Pro Art, and a guest artist. The decision of the jury will be unappealable and notified to the artists by email and published on the website: www.MiniPrintCantabria.es
The following Prizes will be delivered:
1st Prize: €4000
2nd Prize: €1500
3rd Prize: €500
The awarded works will become part of the Heritage of the Cabo Mayor Art Center.
The prizes will be transferred to the artists to a bank account that they indicate in a timely manner.
— Registration and mailing: until July 15, 2019. The postage stamp must prove that they were sent before July 15, 2019
— Selection of works: between August 1 and 10, 2019
— Awards: between August 15 and 20, 2019
— Exhibition: From August 15 to October 20, 2019
Residents in Spain:
€ 55.- Refund, by certified mail, included, or
€ 35.- No refund (donation or destruction)
Non-residents in Spain:
€ 65.- Refund, by certified mail, included, or
€ 45.- No refund (donation or destruction)
In this edition, the delegates of ENCUENTRO IMPACT 10, Santander 2018, will be able to participate for free with up to three works. If they want the return they must pay the return of the work in the online store (€ 20)
Exhibition space of the works: The exhibition of selected works will be held in the rooms of the Cabo Mayor Light Art Center in Santander, Cantabria, Spain from August to October 2019.
Catalogue: A digital catalogue will be published with the selected and awarded works, which will be sent by email to the participating artists. The data and images will be taken from the registration form.
