As part of Edge of Visibility, Randy Cohen interviewed Edge of Visibility exhibiting artist Samuel Levi Jones (American, b. 1978). Samuel Levi Jones is inspired by questions of authority, representation, and recorded history. His artistic practice centers on physically and metaphorically undoing objects associated with systems of power and control. “I am ultimately thinking about information that is selectively left out,” he explains.
Person Place Thing is an interview show based on this idea: people are particularly engaging when they speak not directly about themselves but about something they care about. Guests talk about one person, one place, and one thing that are important to them. The result? Surprising stories from great talkers.
