New Prints Artists-in-Residence Excel at Print Week 2018

Print Week was an incredible time for our three recent New Prints Artists-in-Residence. We featured works by Ernesto Ortiz-Leyva, Shivangi Ladha, and Morteza Khakshoor, at our booth at the Editions/Artists’ Books Fair.

New Prints 2018/Summer Artist-in-Residence Morteza Khakshoor won the E/AB Fair’s inaugural Art Award. The jury-awarded cash prize was given to an emerging artist of distinction at the fair. Additionally, his work Pretty Pretty Book (2018) was acquired by the Ford Foundation Gallery.

The British Museum acquired a series of 8 etchings by 2018/Winter Artist-in-Residence, Shivangi Ladha, and the Newark Public Library acquired 2017/Summer Artist-in-Residence Ernesto Ortiz-Leyva's Open Borders (2016).
